Interval Run

Only two intervals where I didn’t reach 9mph (6:40 pace)! #15 and #30… Still happy with their times though!
Interval runs are hard.

Did my ELEVEN mile run earlier today. This is the farthest I’ve ever run!

Thank fucking god the rest of the week is only 3 and 4 mile runs (never thought I’d say that).
15k (9.2 miles) race on Saturday!!
Foot is almost better. Gonna try running a short, slow run tomorrow to test it out.
NEVER THOUGHT I’D MISS RUNNING THIS MUCH. GODDDDDD.

Just testing out the “goal” feature of the Garmin website. I made one last week (the 29th) that had me running 6 times over the course of the week—my only rest day being Saturday. (This matched up with my half marathon training plan.)
I like this little feature. It’s small, but I’d eventually like to have a whole page filled with these little yellow 100% bars. This week, I’m going to set my goal as my total mileage needed for the week according to my plan:
7+7+4+12+Rest+3+5=38 miles for the week!
Marathon Thoughts. This video is freakin’ hilarious!
I’ve never run a marathon, but I have had ALL of these thoughts at some point while running! HILARIOUS!

Registering for a 15k (9.3 mi) at the end of January! Perfect timing because the half marathon (13.1 mi) is at the end of February!
Wooo!!!

This is even faster than the PR I set last week of 24:30! On that run, I felt like I was sprinting. On this run, I felt like I was gliding. I really didn’t feel like I was going that fast!
Maybe it’s because I bought these today?

A pair of Brooks Connects.
Hmmm… Ran fast because of new shoes, or ran fast because I’m excited about the new shoes? Either way, I’ll keep them for now since I have 3 weeks to decide.
HOORAY IMPULSE PURCHASES!
